Impact

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) may not automatically wipe the brake discs in wet or cold conditions.

Invalid Brake Disc Wipe (BDW) request is received.

Cause

The IDB receives the EPBL_brakeDiscWipeRequest CAN signal as EPB_BRAKEDISCWIPE_REQUEST_SNA for longer than 1 second, or the EPBL_status CAN message has a checksum, counter, or message length error.

Clear condition

A valid EPBL_brakeDiscWipeRequest Controller Area Network (CAN) signal is received for 1 second, or the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is power cycled.
