Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) motor power line open circuit is detected.
<0.01% (Extremely rare)
Power braking assist reduced
Braking may require increased effort
The IDB enters fallback mode and relinquishes controlling status to the Redundant Control Unit (RCU). The RCU may assume controlling status and perform backup brake boost, but Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Brake Traction Control (BTC), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Panic Brake Assist (PBA), Hydraulic Fade Compensation (HFC), Controlled Deceleration via Parking brake (CDP), Brake Disc Wipe (BDW), External Brake Request (EBR), and Secondary Collision Mitigation (SCM) may be unavailable. Increased braking effort may be necessary to achieve desired deceleration. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) motor power line open circuit is detected.
The motor power line (IDB connector pin 30) voltage is less than 3V for 1 second while the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) power line (IDB connector pin 1) voltage is greater than 6.5V.
The motor power line is on at the start of the next power cycle.
